3 Days Nyerere Southern Safari
Nyerere National Park formally known as Selous Game Reserve is one of the Africa’s largest and oldest game reserve with most scenic wildlife destinations. The Park’s beauty is matched by the quality of a safari with its widest diversity activities. Nyerere Park covers 50,000 square Km and it’s among the largest protected area in Africa rich in elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos and crocodiles, and many other species. This safari is scheduled to start at 06:00 AM to Nyerere National Park.

Day 1: Safari from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park
Day 2: Game Drive at Nyerere National Park
After breakfast at 06:30 AM from the camp with packed lunches enjoy a game drive inside the park, expect to see a large number of animals like lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebra, hyenas and many others. You will also see a large variety of birds, wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. During the afternoon at 01:30 PM, you will take your lunch and have some rest before proceeding with game drive. Your dinner and overnight will be at Selous Jimbiza Tented Camp.
Day 3: Tremendous Bush Walk then drive back to Dar es Salaam
Early in the morning after breakfast at the camp, start a walk in the bush at sunrise. Walking safaris are a fantastic way to get closer to nature and learn about the smaller species and the bush itself. It is an unforgettable experience to walk in such a vast and wild nature reserve area. Walks last about 2-3 hours. Usually, walks leave the camp at 6:00-6:30 after having a cup of tea and homemade cookies or donuts. After a walking tour, you will return to your accommodation and prepare for the return to Dar es Salaam at 09:00 AM.
