Our Charity – “Getters Don’t Get, Givers Get” (G-Four Charity Foundation.!)
Getters Don’t Get, Givers Get (G-Four.!) was established in 2018 and aims to give direct help to people with needs, ( street children caring organizations, orphans caring organizations, disabled people, poor people and local small-scale organizations ) in Moshi town, northern Tanzania.
We aim to connect volunteers and donors in a way of accessing and helping local projects without going through a third body, thus ensuring all time and money donated goes directly to the projects intended.
Our G-Four Foundation logo has a symbol of Heart as a sign of love and care plus desire to helps, Also it has the words “G-Four” in it as a name for our foundation driven from these words “Getters Don’t Get, Givers Get” as the words are our sprit that when one gives to others with needs he/she will get more of his/her needs and desires as the results of God’s blesses.
G-Four works alongside the local project directors to develop and sustain their projects in the short and long term. Currently G-Four has committed most of its funds to orphans caring organizations which are home to many young children in Moshi, Kilimanjaro – Tanzania. These are not typical orphanage organizations that everyone knows or have heard about. It is more of loving family homes. Through our helping efforts, we aim to provide these children with access to quality education, accommodations and a safe living environment.
Currently we have been working with Faraja Home of Orphanage which is owned and managed by a lovely grandmother Bibi Faraja, with 45 children offering them with all the basic needs that are food, clothes and shelters, tuition fees, paying bills like water and electricity in their home, sometimes to make the kids feel cared and loved we have been organizing birthday parties when it’s a birthday date of one of them plus holiday ceremonies especially religious and public where we prepare foods, drinks and music for them to enjoy and have what to narrate to their friends with parents at schools so they don’t feel stigmatized and deprived.
We are relying on the invaluable work carried out by our volunteers and the funds received by generous donors whose are mostly the clients we serves with plus that what we give from the profit we make after operating as a giving back to community through our Weltweit Adventures programs. Every cent donated goes towards our continued work in Moshi. Our aim is to assist and initiate projects that are locally based, to give the needed funding and assistance to these projects in the short term and to assist these projects in becoming economically and organizationally self-sustainable in the long term for the good of the future.
